Yes, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) can be highly effective in an online setting. Research and clinical experience show that EMDR works just as well through secure video sessions as it does in person. Many clients even find that doing EMDR therapy from the comfort of their own home helps them feel more relaxed and open during sessions.
In online EMDR, I will guide you through the same structured process as in person, using tools such as eye movements, tapping, or auditory tones delivered virtually. The brain processes traumatic memories in the same way whether you’re sitting in an office or meeting through video.
If you’ve been considering EMDR therapy but prefer not to travel or want to work with a therapist outside your immediate area, online EMDR is a safe, accessible, and effective option.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes. For EMDR, IFS and deeper trauma work, longer sessions may be recommended.

In person sessions are held in Palm Beach Gardens, downtown West Palm Beach, & Boynton Beach, FL and online for people living FL, CA, & VT. Once we schedule your initial appointment, I will send you the address or a link to our online sessions.
My fee for individual therapy is $250 for a 50-minute session, and I meet with clients on a weekly basis.
If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide a detailed receipt (a superbill) that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. I also offer the option to use Thrizer, a service that handles the insurance claim for you and reimburses you upfront for a small fee—making the process easier and faster.
To reserve your first session, payment is required in advance. After that, your card will be charged up to 24 hours before each appointment. I accept all major credit cards and Health Savings Account (HSA) debit cards.
I have a 48 hour cancellation policy.
If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice you will be charged the full session fee unless you can make up the session another time that week and our schedules align.
I typically recommend starting with weekly sessions for at least the first 3 months. This provides consistency, helps us build a strong therapeutic relationship, and allows for steady progress—especially when working with trauma, people-pleasing, or substance misuse using EMDR or IFS therapy.
Some clients may choose to meet more frequently, particularly during times of crisis, when processing complex trauma, or if they want to move through trauma at a more rapid pace. I’m available for more frequent sessions when that feels helpful.
As you begin to feel more grounded and confident using the tools we’ve developed, we can reassess and adjust the frequency. Some people continue weekly, while others move to biweekly or monthly. We’ll work together to find the pace that best supports your healing.
From an EMDR and IFS Therapy perspective, the number of sessions needed varies for each person. It depends on factors like the nature of the trauma or concern, how long it’s been affecting you, your nervous system’s pace of integration, and how much support you have outside of therapy.
With EMDR, some people experience noticeable relief within a few sessions, especially when working on a single incident. For more complex or developmental trauma, the process often takes longer and involves building trust and safety before moving into deeper processing.
With IFS, we take time to gently get to know the different parts of you—especially protective parts that may be skeptical or fearful of change. As we create more connection with your core Self, healing becomes more sustainable. This can take time, but many clients report feeling hopeful and more compassionate toward themselves early in the process.
The goal isn’t just to feel “better” quickly, but to foster lasting change. That said, you may begin to notice shifts—like more internal space, less reactivity, or moments of clarity—within the first few sessions.
I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, many clients are able to get partial reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits. I work with Thrizer, a service that helps streamline this process. You can contact your insurance provider to check if they cover out-of-network counseling services or check your benefits on Thrizer.
I have found that EMDR therapy has been transformative for my clients! Here you can watch my video about EMDR to get a feel for how I work.
I’ll send you a link to your own secure client portal. There, you will set up your account and provide the information to get started.
I primarily use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and IFS (Internal Family Systems) Therapy—both evidence-based, somatic, and trauma-informed approaches. I may also integrate talk therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, breath work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy depending on your needs.
